Privacy Policy

Verse With Me ("we", "us") is a collaborative Bible study app. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and the choices you have. We collect only what the app needs to work.

Information we collect

Account. Your email address and display name, via Firebase Authentication (email/password, Google, or Apple).
Your content. Highlights, reading notes, study notes, and study-room messages you create.
Partner pairing. If you pair with a partner, your highlights and notes are shared with that partner so you can study together.
Preferences & reading state. Theme, font size, and your last-read book/chapter.
Payments. If you subscribe to Pro, payment is processed by Stripe (web) or Apple In-App Purchase (iOS). We store subscription status, not your card details.
Analytics. Aggregate usage data via Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used.

How we use it

To provide the reading and study experience, sync your content across your devices and with a paired partner, process subscriptions, and improve the app. We do not sell your personal data.

Where it lives

Data is stored with Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore). Payments are handled by Stripe and Apple. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.

Your choices

Export. Download a copy of your notes, highlights, and study notes from Settings.
Delete content. Remove your authored content at any time from Settings.
Delete account. Permanently delete your account and associated data from Settings → Account.
Unpair. End partner sharing at any time from Settings.

Children

Verse With Me is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the effective date above.
